Aga Khan

The Aga Khan III, Mohammed Shah was educated in Europe and succeeded his father in 1885 to become the 48th imam. He was The spiritual leader of the Ismalian Muslims.
 
Aga Khan was buried in this mausoleum which was built especially for him, located above the white villa where he lived in Aswan, it is a very elegant pink granite structure of late 1950 origin, which also resembles the Fatimid tombs in Cairo. His son succeeded him upon his death in 1957, and then by his grandson, Karim, Aga Khan IV. Members of this sect consider themselves to be the direct spiritual descendants of the Fatimids.
