Sharm El Sheikh the jewel of Sinai. Situated between the Red Sea's Gulfs of Suez

Sharm is home to one of the world's greatest reef dives, Shark reef and Yolanda
reef, in Ras Mohammed National Park (one of the preserved areas of Egypt). Only
a short boat trip away, the Strait of Tiran are covered with exciting dive
sites that promise an extraordinary glimpse of turtles, sharks, and pelagic
fish.
Sharm el Sheikh's unique location allows easy access to the Strait of Tiran at
the beginning of the Gulf of Aqaba, One of the attractive sites in Sharm is Ras
Mohammed at the southern end of Sinai, and the Strait of Gubal at the entrance
of the Gulf of Suez, all with exciting diving sites varying from colorful
corals, big fish turtles, sharks and much more.

There are 70 diving centers in Sharm el Sheikh, where you can get all kinds of
services and facilities including boat, shore and live-aboard diving, tech
diving and diving for kids In addition many resorts offer land sports such as
volleyball, tennis, squash or golf, there are many areas to explore around the
Red Sea.
One of the most attractive sites in Sinai is Ras Mohammed National Park, it is a
480 square kilometer protected area, where the Gulf of Suez meets the Gulf of
Aqaba at Sinai's southern extremity.

In glaring contrast to the seemingly landscape above, the ecosystem underwater
is a magnificent eruption of life: 200 coral species (125 of which are soft
corals), 1000 fish species, 40 starfish species, 25 sea urchin species, 100
mollusk species, 150 crustacean species, and 2 turtle species: the Green Turtle
and the Hawksbill Turtle.
